PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA (April 8, 2026) — In the spirit of the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the Malaysia Multimedia Influencers Organization (MMIO)—an NGO dedicated to digital empowerment and social good—has officially announced the launch of its “B40 Hari Raya Aidilfitri Assistance Program,” set to take place on April 19, 2026.
This charitable initiative will bring together corporate leaders, community advocates, and over 100 of Malaysia’s top digital content creators. Together, these cross-industry representatives will deliver festive cheer and essential living assistance to B40 (low-income) families, Persons with Disabilities (OKU), and trauma-affected youth.
“At MMIO, we believe the true power of digital media and creativity extends far beyond the screen—it lies in tangible, offline social impact,” said Mr. Wong Foo Khay, Founder of MMIO. “During this season of gratitude and sharing, our core mission is to unite top influencers to help the B40 community and society at large. By turning digital traffic into real-world compassion, we ensure that vulnerable groups feel seen and respected by the community.”
As an extension of MMIO’s core “Design For U” initiative, this event goes beyond traditional donations. In addition to distributing essential supplies and festive care packages to beneficiaries, the participating creators will leverage their platforms to document authentic stories. Their goal is to break the “invisible biases” against marginalized groups and encourage more corporations to commit to long-term inclusive actions.
Under the strong support of MMIO’s Organizational Patron, Y.M. Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi, the organization continues its mission to build a unique social responsibility ecosystem that seamlessly integrates technology, digital content, emotional healing, and economic empowerment.
